Before Summer is Over.

As the days pass by, summer is fading away and soon, school will start. Before that happens I wanna recap what I've done during the last month. The highlight of the summer was of course, our vacation in Australia. I had tons of fun there and it was my first time in snow. One of the best vacations ever! I went skiing, Snowplay, snowball fights, using heat packs (LOL), and freezing my toes off. Haha. Well, if you want to know more about that, you go to the other post "My First White Winter". I also baked a lot of cookies, cupcakes, cakes, mousse, macarons (for the first time ever!) and tons of other stuff.

My turquoise cupcakes.

My chocolate macarons.

My pancake muffin dunkers.

My multicolored cupcakes.

These desserts are just a small few. I had so much fun baking all of them! And each and every one of them were delicious! I also took up some knitting. My first project for a scarf made out of acrylic yarn failed. BUT! I managed to succeed in making a pillowcase with mole yarn. The mole yarn is super soft and fluffy!(Unfinished as the store ran out of that colour!)

Sorry, my phone camera was too blur. :/

Anyway, there's still 2-3 weeks left of summer so I will write again when school starts!

How was your summer? Was it good? Or was it great?

Love ya,
Bella

Father's Day Gift

Hii!
So I know it's a little late for a Father's Day post but... better late than never, right?

I missed Father's Day 'cause me daddy was away BUT during that time I had a bit of time to make my pressie! (And practice it.) It took a while but it was absolutely worth it! Not only did he love it, everyone else did too!

Well, I'm sure you guys wanna know what it was, right? I'll tell you guys then! It was a...

CHOCOLATE CAKE!

Okay, I know it looks really crappy but it was my first time making a cake! Plus, it wasn't really a cake recipe... It was a cupcake recipe. Maybe that's why it turned out in a weird shape... Also, I didn't have a proper plate to put my cake on so I had to improvise.

Anyway, even though it looks crappy, it was SO GOOD. Hands down, one of the best tasting stuff I ever made. (Even if I didn't make a ton of stuff...)

Chocolate cupcake base, vanilla frosting, chocolate mousse filling and chocolate macaron decoration! It was my first time making the mousse and macaron. The macaron were really hard to make and I couldn't get that perfect "feet" but it still tasted great!

Do you guys wanna know where to find all these recipes? Below, I'll write a link for all the recipes I used!

My Long Weekend?

Soooo, Summer is coooming! (High pitched voice) In just a few weeks, school's out!!! Okay, I know that we have summer all year round here in Singapore, but still. I can't wait for vacation, seeing new places and of course, rotting at home. Hahaha! I'll make sure to post posts when Summer IS here!

Today, I made some pudding and milkshakes! Puuuuuudding and milkyshakes! (Shake Shake Shake) I haven't tried any pudding yet because it's still in the refrigerator! But oh man, were those milkshakes good! I made classic chocolate milkshake AND a peanut butter milkshake! (Or peenie butter, as said so by cousie, whichever works for you) My favourite was the peanut butter one! I got the recipes from Hershey's Kitchen. Click on the first link below for The Classic Chocolate and the second for my favourite Peanut Butter!

That website has TONS of chocolate and peanut butter recipes so head there for some chocolate (or peanut butter) indulgence!

I also FINALLY wiped off my chipped and old hot pink nail polish off my nails after sooooo long! I was always either forgetting it, getting too lazy or too busy. Ugh. Anywayyy, moving on. I put on stickers! Nail stickers, of course. Mom helped me do it since I trusted her more than I do myself. And OMG, there was so much work, until I found out the proper way. God, if Belle didn't look up a video on how to do it, I might've never done it again. I put them the wrong side around! (Well, it was mostly Mom's fault. Hehehe) but once I knew how to do it, it was sooo easy! And pretty too! I think I'm definitely doing this again. Hmm... I wonder how long it could last though. Some said ten days and that's really long, so I hope so! Here's a picture of my nails!!!

They look like cute desserts! (BTW, got this from Sasa!)
Okay, I know. Bad picture. Well, what do you expect when you use your iPhone to take a picture at night when all you have it a small light stand. (-_-;;)

Goodnight, dearies! Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite!

XOXO,
Bella

Love for baking.

Helloooo! Bella here.

I recently found a new love… baking! It’s awesome.
PS. I mostly like it because my desserts are AWESOME-LY DELICIOUS.

I managed to bake chocolate cookies, sugar cookies, brownies, cinnamon toasts (which eat regularly now. Hehe!), cupcakes and FUDGE! Turns out that it wasn’t as hard as I thought! I absolutely love baking. Wanna know how it started? Well, it’s not that long of a story. I had a project in Technology where I had to bake. It started out just “okay” at first, not so fun. But then we had to do a survey of our cookies and when I did… almost all of them said it was 10/10! There was even one who said 50/10. Ha! I really liked it when people ate my desserts and said it was great. It gives me great satisfaction. I'm sure all of you has had those kind of feelings right?

Anyway, I'll post pictures later!

Love love love,
Bella!
