Finally...

Finally...both girls Bella & Belle are involved in this blog. Or maybe I should say old enough to post a blog entry on their own. 😁 I'm happy that finally this blog serves its purpose. 

Niway...just to keep you guys informed, each one of us will post 1 blog entry each week. So keep a lookout on what we have to say ya.

This year...we celebrated Mother's Day in KL with my cousins and auntie. 💃💃💃 

I love gatherings like this cause it simply means more gossips! 😁😁😁 I got an Acer tablet as my present this year to replace my laptop so I can watch my series. (Thoughtful of them ha...of course me here have to remind and hint non stop before they [actually hubs paid for it la of course] can get me one). 😒

X-men

Tonight me, my sister and my father went to watch X-men. Although we were originally going to watch it in pairs, (me and my father, my sister and my mother) but my father accidentally bought and extra ticket. Even so, X-men was a very cool movie and it had a lot of action even though some parts was confusing. So overall I would rate it 9/10.

I recently found a new love… baking! It’s awesome.

PS. I mostly like it because my desserts are AWESOME-LY DELICIOUS.

I managed to bake chocolate cookies, sugar cookies, brownies, cinnamon toasts (which eat regularly now. Hehe!), cupcakes and FUDGE! Turns out that it wasn’t as hard as I thought! I absolutely love baking. Wanna know how it started? Well, it’s not that long of a story. I had a project in Technology where I had to bake. It started out just “okay” at first, not so fun. But then we had to do a survey of our cookies and when I did… almost all of them said it was 10/10! There was even one who said 50/10. Ha! I really liked it when people ate my desserts and said it was great. It gives me great satisfaction. I'm sure all of you has had those kind of feelings right?

Wazzzzuuup!

Hey I know I've been neglecting this blog for a while cause I'm obsessed with Dayre app for mobile blogging. You can always find me at dayre.me/rinaong.

Time passed so fast when you have a baby with you. Darling Dom alone is a handful for me. Feed, bathe, feed, entertain and put him to bed becomes my daily thing now. Every single minute of my life revolves around him. I love it. I still think that I'm not spending enough time with him. I want more!

Okay enough of my obsession about my handsome son here.

This year we broke the tradition of not going back to Penang for Chinese New Year. We decided to go Bali instead with my cousins and auntie. We brought the Yee Sang with us. Our reunion dinner was something different. We had pork ribs which was super delicious!

Nothing much to shop in Bali. Sigh. It was an interesting trip but then all of us missed the reunion over in Penang. We were pretty sure they are having so much fun and laughter at the other island.

We know we must go back to hometown during Chinese New Year. So we booked a super cheap flight and super expensive hotel room. Guess which hotel?

Hard Rock Hotel. Hahahaha. We got the room where our balcony goes directly into the pool. Awesomeness! All thanks to hubby for making it possible. Also must thank my persistence in nagging also lah.

We had so much fun meeting up with family and friends for lunch and dinner.

Brand New Year - 2014

So much has changed for the past year. Of course changed for the better. Lucky us. Well, first of all Happy New Year to everyone (I know it's 16 days late cause I have been blogging on my mobile on the Dayre app which you can view in dayre.me/rinaong ) I mostly update there is because I can blog at anytime when my Darling Dom is asleep or when he is busy playing and I can sneak a little time here and there to update the less than 500 words per time. It's a short and simple and straight to the point although some can still be very long winded.

2013 has been good to us.

• Darling Dom is growing up beautifully and perfectly. We are blessed.
• Bella has done well in her PSLE exam eventhough she is in Singapore for just 2 years.
• Belle is doing good in her school. She is now a more confident and outgoing person.
• Me and hubs are happily growing sideways! Hahahaha (Prosperous mah!)
• We went for family holidays in Korea.
• We have more than we could ever asked for and we are thankful for it.

There! I have it listed down. It's not a very long list but then it definitely has made us a better person and a more close and tight knit family because of it. Let's hope 2014 is a even more better year for us and also everyone else!

Anime Festival Asia 2013

First time attending the Anime Festival Asia in Suntec, Singapore. Tickets for the 3 day event from 11-13 November 2013 is $10 (one day entry) just for the Exhibition Access. 

As usual, the place was filled with Otakus, which means anime lovers in Japanese (info gotten from Bella - she is also an anime lover FYI).

It is very obvious that these people put in effort to dress up exactly like their favorite anime characters. Thumbs up to them. 👍👍👍. Another thing I found interesting is that they have the AFA Cafe - served by maids and butlers! Too bad we didn't manage to dine in there cause the queue was soooo long! Both Bella and Belle wanted to see Yutakis in person and luckily they manage to at the end! 💃💃💃💃

This year Belle bought the Naruto headband for $10 and Kunai for $5. Bella didn't find anything interesting to indulge in I think. Here are some of the pics that we took in the convention.
